Hi All! We've had some great days at the pool so far! Everyone is getting to know their teammates and coaches.

I have a couple of announcements. 

1. On the calendar we have a meeting scheduled for May 26th at 9:30am to go over refresher info or info for new families. We will go over the basics and what to expect for the first meet on May 30th (Tuesday after Memorial Day). THIS INFORMATIONAL MEETING IS CHANGED TO MAY 25TH INSTEAD OF MAY 26TH!

2. You will want to go in and declare your swimmer for the meets as soon as possible. If you plan on being at all the meets or aren't sure, declare your swimmer as going and then adjust each week if anything changes. 

3. We will have Time Trials on our first two days of morning practices: May 25 and May 26. IF you are unable to be at Time Trials, coaches will use their best judgement when scheduling for the meet. Then we will take times at the first meet for placement in the second meet. 

4. Weather has been a little issue lately. The two days of bad weather have been the two days I couldn't be at practice. Because I live in Roswell, there is no way for me to know the weather in Marietta so I wasn't able to say if we had practice or not. The coaches are all aware of the rules and will clear the deck when needed. If you don't feel it is safe for your swimmer to come to practice, we don't expect you to bring your child. We will completely understand. 

5. Please go in and sign up for jobs at the meets! We can't do it without you!

6. As always, please let me know if you have any questions! I will not be at all the practices this season, but am doing my best to be there whenever possible. 

We all have a lot going on these last days of school and we know you can't be at everything! Be there when you can!
