Crazy busy week with school getting out!

Reminder that we do NOT have practice on Wednesday for the last day of Cobb County schools.

Thursday we have our meeting for anyone that is new or needs a refresher at 9:30am! We will meet outside the gates at the tables.

Thursday and Friday are Time Trial days! If there is any way you can have your swimmer at practice, please do! These times help us set our line ups.

***Make sure you have your swimmer declared as going or not going

to the meet by FRIDAY at NOON!***

 Anyone not declared by that time will NOT be included in the meet. This is extremely important! If you are unsure how to declare, please come see me today, tomorrow, or at the meeting on Thursday. 

Our Swimathon is a fundraiser we put on each year and we donate a huge chunk of the money to a local charity. This will be our second year donating to It's The Journey. 

All of Cobb Summer Swim League is doing a PINK OUT for week 5 of meets. It's The Journey is a nonprofit that is important to local breast cancer patients that need help with any kind of care. Please read about it on our website under Swimathon. The president of CSSL has walked beside his wife that is a two time survivor of breast cancer and brought this charity into the league. All the funds stay local to Georgia. 

Under our Dolphin Store you can purchase a t-shirt, swim cap, or bracelet from It's The Journey. To guarantee a t-shirt size, you need to order this by THIS WEDNESDAY. After that, sizes are not guaranteed. All profits go directly to It's The Journey. Please support this if you can! 

We will plan to go all out in pink at our week 5 meet this year and would love some creative ideas for our team as a whole!

Last bit of information:

ALL swimmers are invited to participate in the Georgia Games on June 10th! You can register right from our site if you go under SCHEDULES and then to GA Games. It's a great warm up for Patty Wilder or other district and state meets. All athletes will receive a t-shirt and they have awards, as well. The registration deadline is June 1.
