Dear Dolphin Families,

I hope you are celebrating dads big today! 

We still need some help for this week's meet. When joining the team, you commit to work two shifts per swimmer with a maximum of four shifts required. That could include baking, setting up, cleaning up, or one of the many jobs at the meets. 

I keep track of who has volunteered and how many shifts worked throughout the season. I am aware of those that work more than the shifts required and those that haven't volunteered at all. 

I do NOT want to have to email people individually and tell them they need to work shifts. However, we are stuck without some pretty important jobs filled and I would LOVE to see those that have NOT volunteered yet to sign up for these jobs!

If you are a parent of only a Guppy, you are not required to work at meets. However, if you sign up to work, we expect you to be there or take your name off the list. I have been stuck at the last couple meets expecting parents and not realizing they were Guppy parents until they didn't come. 

Our current needs for the meet tomorrow:

• Bullpen second shift
• Deep end line judge second shift 
• Deep end line judge second shift
• Timer second shift
• Timer second shift

I need all people to RSVP for the end of season party NO LATER THAN JUNE 23! So far we have 22 people signed up and that includes families (we have over 150 kids on the team). Please help me out by signing up so I can give Waffle House an accurate count.

If you want to participate in the Swimathon poster contest, we need those by this Wednesday, the 21st! Please make a poster with the It's The Journey logo on it or something representing the non-profit. (See the site under Swimathon for information or ideas)

If you have not attended Swimathon before, I promise you, your kids will love it! Come participate! 

A minimum donation of $25 is required to be eligible for prizes, but you can participate even if not donating! The kids also get Aloha Ice following their swim. We have a ton of fun with this event and the kids get super excited to be a part of this fundraiser for our team and the community. Next week's theme is Pink Out across the county and the funds we raise will be given to It's The Journey! Representatives from CSSL and It's The Journey will be out to see our Swimathon this Friday! I'd love for them to see all the posters that represent this non-profit!

Donations from Swimathon can be collected and turned in no later than June 26th. We will only accept checks and Venmo this year. If we can have one payment per family, this would REALLY help us out! Thank you in advance!

Make sure you check the site for the Swimathon schedule. There is a slight change with older kids. 

Please bring any Swimathon donations to me over the next couple of days so we can get our prizes put together.
