Registration for the 2024 season is now open!

Hello Post Oak Blue Dolphin families!

Our season is right around the corner! As many of you probably already know, Kori has retired from the role of swim team coordinator, so with Coach Ian's help, Hannah Lamb (daughter, Amelia (13) and son, Jonah (9)) and Elizabeth Kuney (daughter, Charlotte (12)) are excited to take on the role this year!

Hopefully many of you saw the email last week - our Annual Registration Day/Open House will be at the Post Oak pool on Saturday, March 23rd from 12:00pm-3:00pm. Come say hi to our coaches - we have several returning coaches as well as some new faces this year! You will also have the opportunity to try-on swimsuits and ask other questions.

If you have been on our team before, you know our registration fills up fast. Our team has grown significantly over the past few years and we have had to close registration and create waiting lists, so don’t hesitate to sign up your swimmers!

If you can't attend in-person on March 23rd, don't worry - you can just go-ahead and register online TODAY!

Registration costs:

Dolphins ages 5-12: $150 for the first child with discounts for additional swimmers: $20 off the second child, $30 off the third child, $50 off the fourth child, $70 off the fifth child

Dolphins ages 13-14: $100

Dolphins ages 15-18: $80 (no non-resident membership fee)

Guppies ages 4-6: $150 (a program for future Dolphins)

Additional costs: non-Post Oak resident fee of $50 per family

What does my registration go towards?

• Dolphins will participate in 33 intense, synergetic, and fun lessons developed by our amazing coach team
• Guppies will participate in 20 days of small group instruction
• Dolphins will have the opportunity to participate in 5 neighborhood meets
• Guppies will have the opportunity to participate in a mini meet at the end of the season
• Dolphins will collect sponsorships and participate in a Swim-a-thon for the chance to win amazing prizes, as well as raise money for our team and It's The Journey a non-profit which raises money to help people diagnosed with breast cancer right here in Cobb County and throughout the state of Georgia
• Dolphins will receive ribbons for races to track progress and a medal or special award at the end of the season
• Guppies will receive an end of season award
• Guppies will receive a swim cap as part of their registration
• Dolphins will earn treats at Fun Friday events
• Dolphins will have the opportunity to participate in small group clinics to gain knowledge on basic form and technique
• Dolphins and Guppies will have a separate end of the season celebration party
• Dolphins and Guppies will be given a team t-shirt with an opportunity to buy other team merchandise
• Dolphins and Guppies will be a part of a team and have the opportunity to meet tons of friends
• Dolphins and Guppies will learn about sportsmanship
• Dolphins and Guppies will work toward developing a lifelong love of swimming
• Dolphins and Guppies will have a plethora of fun!

After school practices will begin on Monday, May 6th. Morning practices AND a "mock meet" will be on Thursday, May 23rd. Clinics and Guppies will also begin on May 23rd. There will be an optional informational meeting on Friday, May 24th at 9:30am to go over swim meet declaration and other information about the season.
